FIELD: antenna technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antenna technology, in particular to broadband spiral antennas operating in the ultra-high frequency range as part of antenna systems for various purposes, including direction finding and tracking systems. In a spiral antenna containing a flat spiral, an exciting device and a stepped screen of metal rings located a quarter of the wavelength below the corresponding active areas of the flat spiral, in contrast to the prototype, the stepped screen is supplemented with metal conical surfaces of truncated straight cones located between the metal rings so that the outer circumference of each ring, except for the lower one, is galvanically connected by a conical surface to the inner circumference of the ring lying below.
EFFECT: creation of a spiral antenna with an increased gain without sharp resonant changes in the operating frequency range, a simplified design and increased manufacturability.
