SUBSTANCE: invention is related to communication engineering. Method is suggested for service switching (hand-over) with commutation of packets in system of mobile communication, comprising terminal (21), initial unit (23) and unit of assignment (25). Technical result is achieved by matching of protocol parametres for assignment unit from the side of new network object, by realisation of communication with old network object, while terminal is connected to initial unit.
EFFECT: reduction of time for service interruption in process of terminal displacement in new cell.
