FIELD: motor industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to passenger car bumper. Bumper comprises plastic shell body with ribs and curves. Bumper is arranged as C-shaped in cross section and has a rigidly fixed press-cast upper apron (2), which reduces resistance of air flows. For smooth transition of air or water medium, surface (3) is arranged as inclined at sharp angle in direction of vehicle motion. To reduce flow turbulence, it has radius curves (6-9) and curvilinear surface (10), creating a separating belt, directed at an obtuse angle to road bed to preserve threaded fixtures in balanced system, which provide for bumper holding in process of speed motion. Internal ailerons (11) provide for stabilisation of a working position of side ends (12), having combined molded ribbing, which includes a bulge with a hole. Bumper support is arranged as concave with recesses. Vertical ribbing is arranged on internal side of bumper, which makes it possible to reduce thickness of front bumper wall shell down to 5-4.5 mm with availability of a minimum rib thickness of 3 mm. Windows and dead sites are arranged in bumper. On upper border of bumper there are sloped radius curves and cavities for installation of instruments. Ribbing is arranged in bumper in the form of pockets to increase strength and install wire taps in these pockets. Bumper ends are arranged with straight and radius sections of profile for smooth transition to car border walls. Lower section in middle part of bumper is located with the possibility to provide for a supply of wet dirty soil, clay or snow at fluidity angle to lower cut under action of opposite air flow, at the same time bumper is arranged in the form of one part.
EFFECT: invention provides for improved strength characteristics.
