FIELD: motor industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to bumper of passenger cars. Bumper is an assembled moulded structure with holes for attachment to car body. Bumper body is made by a press-cast operation from a mineral-filled frost-resistant polypropylene, having fibrous structure, which may withstand multiple bends and shocks. Its shape on a view in plan is arranged as curvilinear, which makes it possible to sectionally perceive static and kinematic loads on surface areas. Main section is separated along axis of symmetry into bending zone β, value of which varies within the limits from tens of mcm to several mm. At the side of ends sections are rigidly joined to car body with the help of a threaded fixture, in which polyhedron helps to fix a nut-equipped z-shaped bracket bolt to body with the help of spheroidal head. Main section is equipped with a pair of fixture brackets, intended, on one side, for rigid coaxial fixation to car body, and on the other side, with the help of molded flanges with transportation rings. Molded flanges are equipped with holes for rigid fixation with a body and decorative pad with a chrome-plated coat, with thickness from 30 to 60 mcm, with the help of a threaded element with a spheroidal chrome-plated head and nut with washer. In lower part of body a conical threaded fixture is used. Body, along length L in section "Б-Б" is arranged as a stepped shell arc, created with internal surfaces, where surface is crossed along normal line with a hole intended for installation of a semiflush threaded fixture of a decorative chrome-plated pad.

EFFECT: invention provides for design simplification due to reduction of parts number making it as a whole and needing no painting.
