FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in chemical instrument making. On foundation of reactor body 1 they install rod 9 with reservoir 12, which comprises initial catalyst. Reactor is tightly closed with cover 5, and reactor body 1 is heated up to temperature of reaction execution, afterwards it is filled with carbonic acid gas. Then reactor is opened and cover 5 is installed, which contains in cavity 7 ampoule 6 with water sample retained in cavity by plug-fixator 8 with openings for water outlet and fixed additional second rod 10 with reservoirs 11 on it filled with zinc dust. Methane produced as a result of synthesis is supplied to gas proportional counter.
EFFECT: simplified operation of reactor, reduced power and process costs, improved efficiency and accuracy of executed measurements.
