FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: closed container to undergo leakage testing is squeezed using displacement elements in the first flexible zone and forces arising in the second flexible zone of the container are traced on the force measurement surface for a certain period of time. Maximum force in the given period of time is determined. This force is measured later, and leakage of the container is determined from the difference between the said maximum force and the measured force.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and faster testing of tightly sealed containers.
