FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composition of a modifying additive to cement, concrete mixture, mortar, used for making concrete and reinforced concrete objects, as well as gypsum based objects. The modifying additive is obtained by drying wastes from processing boron-containing ore from the Dalnegorsk deposit with anhydrite content of 11 to 22% of the mass of the wastes. The said wastes can also be heated to 100 to 120°C, obtaining hemihydrate gypsum.
EFFECT: increased strength of objects containing the said modifying additive.
