SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to new organoselenium compounds with formula IV. In formula IV: , A is ; B is ; R1 is independently C1-C4 alkyl; R2 is independently C1-C4 alkyl, substituted with at least one halogen, or is a halogen; R3 is hydrogen or R4 is hydrogen, alkali metal ion or C1-C7 alkyl; R5 is independently C1-C4 alkyl, substituted with at least one halogen, or is a halogen; m is an integer equal to 1, n is an integer ranging from 1 to 2; and p is an integer ranging from 0 to 3. The invention also relates to methods of producing formula IV compounds, method of obtaining an intermediate compound, pharmaceutical compositions which contain an organoselenium compound as an active component, as well as to intermediate compounds II, IIa and III.

EFFECT: obtaining compounds which have activity towards the receptor which is activated by peroxisomal proliferator δ(PPARδ) and can be used for treating cardiovascular diseases, reducing cholesterol level, diabetes or obesity.
