FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid vehicles. Power generation control device for a hybrid vehicle with a battery and two electric motors comprises a power generation controller, instructing one and the second electric motor to generate power using the engine torque. When the vehicle is stopped, the controller disconnects the first electric motor from the driving wheel, connects this motor to the engine and performs power generation in idling mode and does not perform the generation of electric motor power in idling mode and maintains the first electric motor connected to the drive wheel during sufficient battery capacity.
EFFECT: generation of electrical power is provided when the vehicle is stopped.
