FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hybrid vehicles. Power production control device for a hybrid vehicle, transmission of which has catching couplers, contains power production controller that transmits moving force from engine to electric motor and performs power production by the electric motor based on the power production request. Catching couplers are couplers that connect driving sources and driving wheels. When power production in idling speed by means of electric motor is performed at the time when vehicle is stopped, the controller controls the motor so that the differential speed of rotation of the input-output of catching couplers becomes more than or equal to differential threshold requirement of rotation at which the catching couplers are not engaged.
EFFECT: prevents unintentional engagement of couplers.
