FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to fuel supply systems of internal combustion engines widely used in designs of automobiles, tractors, road building machines, etc. Fuel tank consists of a capacity with a float located therein, and connected with flexible connection to spring-loaded fixing devices of the shell of the filtering net and body of the drain plug. When the capacity is fully filled with fuel, the float has negative buoyancy and is installed in a movable way in vertical guides rigidly fixed at the capacity bottom. On lower surface of the float there made is square-shaped cavity interacting with the mating body of drain plug. On upper surface of the float there fixed is tension spring which is connected with its other end to the cross bar of guides; at that, to the latter there hinged is at least a pair of double-armed levers so that they can contact both upper surface of the float and the shell of the filtering net.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the device and improving its reliability, which excludes unauthorised fuel takeoff from fuel tank.
