FIELD: electricity.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of electric engineering and may be used in control of inductor drive, having toothed stator, in which several phased windings are installed, every of which is supplied with unidirectional current pulses of semi-bridge voltage inverter, and toothed winding-free rotor. In control method they measure period of rotor position sensor unit phase signal. Time intervals are calculated, which define beginning and end of zones of voltage inverter power keys control. Results of measurements and calculations are used to generate sequence of each phase power keys control pulses. One of signal fronts in one of phases of rotor position sensor unit, and also sensor of this phase are accepted as basic. Front of basic sensor signal is used for phased tuning of control pulses once per motor rotation relative to signals of rotor position sensors. Additionally they introduce mode of rotor position sensors diagnostics, for this purpose prior to beginning of rotor rotation each phased winding is alternately energised with a unidirectional current pulse. During this pulse after rotor installation into matched position "rotor tooth - tooth of stator active phase", they compare condition of sensor signals to authenticity table. Table is used to identify compliance of sensor signals condition with each matched position "rotor tooth - tooth of active stator phase". Results of comparison are used to identify good condition of all rotor position sensors. The first of good sensors is accepted as basic.
