FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of expanded formula forage production in animal-breeding farms and at inter-farm formula forage enterprises. Method includes forage dosing, expanding, thermal treatment, structuring and cooling. Thermal treatment of loose formula forage is carried out successively by preliminary heating in mixer-normaliser to temperature 60-70° by means of heat-carrier and further heating in working chamber of expander due to supply of steam in necessary amount at temperature 110-120°. Air - heat carrier is heated in heat exchanger by supply of atmospheric air passing in flow opposite in direction to flow of hot granules of expanded formula forage and washing them by passing to it heat from hot granules during their cooling in convector way and is utilized through heat main line into mixer-normaliser. Heating of heat-carrier and granule cooling are regulated in such way that temperature of granules at the output was within 30-40°, degree of granules cooling is regulated by amount of supplied atmospheric air and rate of movement in heat-exchanger of cooled formula forage granules. Installation contains receiving bunker, metering machine, mixer-normaliser, expander, cooler, cyclone with ventilator. Inside cooler made is heat-exchanger in form of rectangular tube by shape of internal part of cooler body with ratio of tube height to its width 1:3-1:4. Cooler is installed with 2-4° inclination. On its upper butt end in upper part electric vibrator is installed, and in lower part there is a device for inclination angle regulation. Internal cavity of heat-exchanger in its lower part is connected with atmosphere via mechanism of dosed supply of atmospheric air, and upper burr end surface via heat main line - with mixer-normaliser and suction branch pipe of cyclone.

EFFECT: invention application will allow to increase formula forage quality.
