SUBSTANCE: invention refers to forage production. The method of combined feed desinfection comprises heating and mixing feed, vapour and water, keeping the mix within the specified time; thermal desinfection is performed in the reactor in conformity with the program, installed on the control pulpit; besides feed is dried with open air, heated in the heat exchanger due to the heat, obtained from hot forage when cooling in the cooling unit. The unit comprises reactor, feed hopper, feeder of charging and feeder of discharging, cooling unit, dryer, rotospray besides inside the reactor there is double-shaft mixer in the shape of the internal part of the hopper, heat exchanger and mechanism for heat-transfer material sampling control, dryer comprises mechanism for control of heat-transfer material sampling quantity and aspiration system, comprising cyclone collector, fans and heat line.

EFFECT: invention enables to increase reliability of combined feed heat treatment and reduce by 30-40% production power consumption.
