FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in various fields of metal working industry and chemical engineering at fabrication of metal structures and also at emergency repair of bottoms of large-size technology (for instance, tracklaying go-anywhere vehicle), restoration of disturbed leaktightness of large-size structures and other. Massive plate ingot is located by its flat surface over sheet of plating parallel to welding clearance. Coating sheet is located on high explosive. Itself high explosive is located in hollow of rigid basis, allowing form of right prism with basis in the form of isosceles trapezium. Height trapezium is equal to length of coating sheet. Larger basis of trapezium is equal to width B if coating sheet and is in the beginning of detonation front. The minor basis is 0.96×B÷0.99×B. Shape of cavity provides constancy of deforming impulse in a zone of collision along the total connectable surface during the process of explosion welding. Correlation of values of deforming pulses is selected from condition of receiving of required rate of activation of contact surfaces for forming of reliable connection.
EFFECT: invention provides facilitates stabilisation of parametres of wave profile of welding seam along detonation front on total surface of connected zone and reduction of residual deflection of two-layer composite.
