FIELD: electric engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to welding materials intended for electric arc facing of steel layer, and namely when reconstructing worn surfaces of rolling stock parts. Composition of welding wire, wt %: carbon 0.1-0.18, manganese 0.75-1.6, chrome 0.6-1.35, silica 0.35-1.0, titanium 0.02-0.35, vanadium 0.02-0.15, calcium 0.002-0.015, nickel 0.3 5-1.2, and iron - the rest. Ratio of total content of manganese and nickel to chrome content is 0.9-4.0. Cold resistance of weld metal and its resistance to cold cracks are increased.
EFFECT: stabilising properties during flux metal welding and in CO2 environment.
