FIELD: construction, road engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods for arrangement of road and similar carpets on the basis of loose filler and binder material and may be used in improvement of parking lots and entrances of motor transport, playgrounds, playlots or sports grounds, pavements, pedestrian or bicycle roads. Method for making road carpet, including preparation of composition, which contains filler and binder, and its application. Organic binder used is double-component organosilicon binder based on epoxide resin. Prior to preparation of composition, filler is flushed and dried, and components of organic binder are heated up to temperature of 15-20°C. Preparation of composition is carried out by mechanical mixing of certain proportions of filler and components of organic binder with addition of powdery thickener, at the same time mixing is done by means of gradual addition of organic binder to filler until the whole surface of filler is completely covered with organic binder. Road carpet is laid directly after preparation of composition, continuously at the temperature of not lower than 5°C, onto prepared foundation, with layer height of at least 25 mm, with further flattening and smoothening, and after road carper has been laid, it is matured for around seven days to obtain design strength, and then expansion joints are cut.

EFFECT: provision of gas and moisture permeability of polymer-mineral road carpet, having sufficient strength with low thickness of layer.
