FIELD: mining.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to method for breaking of rock driven with drilling, in which rock is exposed to serial voltage pulses through tool. Method for rock breaking consists in the fact that voltage waves are generated by means of periodic action at tool, such as drilling rod, by compression force so that compression force creates a voltage wave in tool. Compression force is generated by application of compressed fluid pressure for direct or indirect action at tool end for the period of voltage pulse generation so that force created by pressure compresses tool. Voltage pulses are applied to rock with high frequency and with ratio of load (α), calculated on the basis of values of frequency (f) and length (tp) of voltage wave and equal to at least 0.075.
EFFECT: increased service life of equipment.
