FIELD: fire safety.
SUBSTANCE: method implies measuring the electrical current at the controlled load section, the analogous value of the measured load current and voltage of the external network in each phase is converted into the digital values with their following decomposition into the digital spectra. Afterwards the voltage spectrum of the external network of this phase is deducted from the load current spectrum of each phase; the result is divided by the load current spectrum of the respective phase. The obtained digital values of noise coefficient per each phase are accumulated within the specified period of time, the value of the accumulated noise coefficient is compared to the specified value or specified values of the first or higher levels of the comparison accepted for the respective fire ratings. Depending on the accumulated signal value an alarm signal or signals on the fire hazardous situation is generated and/or a command for switching off of the controlled section is formed. Numerical value of the noise coefficient of each phase is saved in the memory unit. The device for the method implementation is proposed as well.
