FIELD: fire-fighting.
SUBSTANCE: electric current of the controlled area is measured; differential current of the controlled area is measured, it is amplified and compared with a threshold value, pulse signals of given duration and amplitude are formed on the leading edges exceeding the threshold, these signals are summarised by their connection to the input "right shift" of the shift register, signals of standard (given) frequency of repetition are formed, they are subtracted from the summed signals through their connection to the input of the "left shift" of the shift register; at occurrence of the signal at the third and subsequent outputs of the shift register a warning signal or signals are formed about the origin of fire risk situations and/or a command is formed to turn off the controlled area. The device is implemented by using appropriate means.
EFFECT: increased likelihood of detecting a signal of arcing and simplification of the device.
