FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: animals, e.g. rats, are examined for blood level of phagocytic activity of leukocytes (FAL), leukocytes (LK), lymphocytes (LP), thymus (TW) and spleen (SW) weights, and contents of antibody-forming cells (AFC) in spleen. At first, adjuvant-induced arthritis is initiated in animals by adjuvant introduction in pads in amount 0.1 ml. Then 36-38 days later, the injection is followed with introduction cycle of gaseous ozone in amount 0.5 cm3 in overfoot joints of back lags every 1-2 days, 10 procedures in all. Then it is followed with intraperitoneal immunisation of animals with 10% sheep's erythrocytes 2.5 ml. The animals are slaughtered for the 5th day to analyse said parametres. The efficiency factor (EF) is calculated by formula: If the EF exceeds 0.06, medical effect of ozone therapy is considered to be observed.
EFFECT: derivation of integrated estimate of positive effect ozone therapy.
