FIELD: mechanics.
SUBSTANCE: cutter includes a shank with a socket at least for one indexable cutting plate containing upper surface having flat central section, flat lower surface and a lot of side surfaces; one side surface includes flat surface passing from lower surface and a band passing from upper surface to flat surface, long cutting edge formed at the crossing between upper surface and band of one of side surfaces, cutting edge of rounding angle, cutting edge of rounding edge and chamfered cutting edge, which are formed at the crossing between upper surface and one of side surfaces. At that, band passes around the rounding of cutting plate top part and is changed into flat surface, and angle of band is less than seating angle formed with flat surface. Upper part includes a lot of upward inclined rounding passages passing between flat central section and many upward inclined front surfaces passing between the appropriate rounding passages and the appropriate cutting edge. At that, front surface comprises angle of five to twenty five degrees relative to flat central section of upper surface of cutting plate. At that, all cutting edges are located in one and the same plane.
EFFECT: improving high-speed processing efficiency.
