FIELD: metallurgy, electrolysis.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of electrolytic cell anode changing for manufacturing of aluminium by electrolysis in melt including multitude of anodes. In the method, on the one hand, it is used at least one transportation tool of anode, including positioning element, capture element and vertical position sensor of capture element, and this position sensor is used for measurement of distances, passed by capture element relative to control level N, and, on the other hand, it is created at least one of sound or electromagnetic waves by axis or in specified control plane and anode passage is used in mentioned beam for that measure mentioned distances. It is defined vertical position of changing anode in electrolytic cell on the assumption of received values of mentioned passed distances and it is placed changing anode into that position in place initially occupied by used anode. There are described system of measurement of passed by capture element anode of electrolytic cell at its changing, service machine and service aggregate of plant for aluminium manufacturing by means of electrolysis in melt, including such measuring system.

EFFECT: reduction of time spent for changing of anodes and improvement of working conditions.
