FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to extraction of gold and other metals from ore. Composition of arsenopyrite FeAsS, pyrrohtine FeS, pyrite FeS2 is determined through microprobe analysis. Reference coefficients for arsenopyrite, pyrrohtine, and pyrite are calculated once for the next batch of ore. Reference coefficients for arsenopyrite, pyrrohtine, and pyrite are calculated from given calculated ratios. Concentration of arsenium and iron is determined through X-ray spectral analysis of the concentrate. Concentration of arsenopyrite in the concentrate is calculated by multiplying concentration of arsenium in the concentrate and the calculated reference coefficient. Concentration of iron aresnopyrite in the concentrate is calculated based on concentration of arsenopyrite in the concentrate and concentration of iron in arsenopyrite. Fractional analysis of the concentrate is carried out in a heavy liquid. An express concentrate is obtained. The express-concentrate is dissolved in concentrated hydrochloric acid. The precipitate is separated and weighed. Total concentration of arsenopyrite and pyrite in the express concentrate is calculated from the ratio of weight of the precipitate to the weight of the express concentrate. Total concentration of iron arsenopyrite and pyrite in the concentrate is determined through X-ray spectral analysis of the precipitate of the express concentrate. Concentration of pyrrohtine in the concentrate is calculated from formula: w[FeS]concentrate=w[Fe]concentrate-w[FeAsS+FeS2]express concentrate×w[Fe](FeAsS+FeS2))RFeS, where: w[FeS]concentrate - is concentration of pyrrohtine in the concentrate, %; w[Fe]concentrate - is concentration of iron in the concentrate, %; w[FeAsS+FeS2]express concentrate - is total concentration of arsenopyrite and pyrite in the express concentrate d.e.; w[Fe](FeAsS+FeS2) - is total concentration of iron arsenopyrite and pyrite in the concentrate, %; RFes - is reference coefficient of pyrrohtine. Concentration of pyrite in the concentrate is calculated using formula: w[FeS]concentrate=w[FeAsS+FeS2]express concentrate×w[Fe](FeAsS+FeS2)-w[Fe](FeAsS)×RFeS2, where: w[FeS2]concentrate - is mass ratio of pyrite in the concentrate, %; w[FeAsS+FeS2]express concentrate - is total concentration of arsenopyrite and pyrite in the express concentrate, d.e.; w[Fe](FeAsS+FeS2) - is total concentration of iron arsenopyrite and pyrite in the concentrate, %; w[Fe]FeAsS - is concentration of iron arsenopyrite in the concentrate, %; RFeS2 - is reference coefficient of pyrite.
