FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: photoelectric converter contains working layers: front and rear metal electrodes, a p-n junction between said electrodes, consisting of a semiconductor layer with first type of conductivity and a semiconductor layer with second opposite type of conductivity, a substrate for depositing said layers is made in form of a geometrical body of length L with two faces A and B, in a section perpendicular length L, which is a plane figure with area S of an arbitrary shape. The working layers are deposited on the surface of the geometrical body along the L dimension and, as a version of implementation, on one of the faces A or B, if there is cavity inside the geometrical body, onto the inner surface of the cavity. There is also a reflecting layer, which is placed such that, electromagnetic waves reach it after passing through the rest of the said working layers.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of the photoelectric converter.
