FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to dentistry and can be applied for evaluation of occlusive interrelation of antagonistic teeth. In oral cavity occlusogram is obtained in position of central occlusion. Obtained occlusogram is cut by contours of occlusive contacts to distal surface of first permanent molars. Remaining part of occlusogram is weighed on analytical scales. Volume of inter-occlusion space is calculated by formula V = m/p, where V - occlusogram volume, m - occlusogram weight, p - density of wax used in occlusogram obtaining. Occlusive interrelation of antagonistic teeth is evaluated, taking into account that volume of inter-occlusion space for people with physiological occlusion constitutes 0.99±0.01 cm3.
EFFECT: method allows to increase reliability of obtained biometric characteristics.
