SUBSTANCE: invention refers to dentistry and can be used in determining the pressure exerted on teeth during occlusion and predicting their functionality. Method for determining pressure applied to the tooth in dental occlusion, comprising conducting an occlusion study by the T-Scan apparatus, storing the occlusion contact data in Adobe Photoshop, scaling obtained findings of occlusal contacts by calculating the number of pixels in 1 mm² and their representation with different colours depending on the degree of intensity, counting the areas of occlusal contacts of a certain colour by means of the Photoshop Magic Wand Tool, counting the total area of the occlusion contacts for all colours, carrying out the patient's gynadynynamometry to obtain the value of the chewing pressure force and calculating pressure of occlusal contacts of each tooth, by calculating the ratio of chewing force to previously determined occlusal total area of occlusion contacts.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables metric determination of the pressure exerted on a portion of the tooth having facial erasability on the occlusal surface by a ratio of chewing force to the occlusal area of the facet tooth erasure defined by objective methods.
