FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: method involves producing occlusogram of dental contact points by determining spatial positions of each pair of opposite teeth. Occlusion contacts arrangement is determined as fixed imprint of occlusion surface relief by reproducing geometric plane of occlusion built on characteristic closure points of occlusion contacts of each pair of opposite teeth and produced on three characteristic contact points as base plane with flat cross-sections built in parallel to it as a set of slices along occlusion surface relief imprint in perpendicular to functional tooth axis corresponding to normal line to base surface to enable one to produce fixed occlusion surface relief imprint for antagonist teeth outside of the oral cavity. Metric model of occlusion surface relief imprint is built for each pair of antagonist teeth. Flat cross-sections are built shifted by measurement step corresponding to occlusogram material thickness reference values. Occlusion contacts and zones adjacent to occlusion contacts are determined from interocclusion space thickness value. Perimeter is determined for calculating occlusion contact areas and areas of zones adjacent to occlusion contacts required for restoring antagonist teeth occlusion surface relief.

EFFECT: high accuracy in determining biometric characteristics.
