FIELD: motor-car construction industry.

SUBSTANCE: as disclosed by the invention, the method provides for auto tires collecting in a package and supplying by conveyor to milling by cutting. The package is formed by vertical auto tires stacking. Then it is compressed by tension puller placed inside auto tires package. The milling cutter is installed tangentially to package surface being processed, while milling cutter spanning axis is placed in the plane crossing longitudinal axis of package and biased to the above longitudinal axis of package. Face milling cutter is used as milling element with removable cartridges being placed on its face surface. Hard-alloy cutting plates are fixed along concentric circles in the removable cartridges. In addition, auto tires package rotates simultaneously with milling cutter.

EFFECT: simplified technology of processing, reduced size and weight of milling plant allowing for placing it on self-moving vehicle and, consequently, wide range of auto tires can be processed directly in places of their accumulation.
