FIELD: aircraft engineering.

SUBSTANCE: window frame comprises outer flange, inner flange, vertical flange and window transparent part. Vertical flange is arranged between outer and inner flanges and perpendicular to them. Outer flange serves to joint window frame to aircraft airframe. Window transparent part rests upon inner flange and is supported by vertical flange. Window frame is made from resin reinforced by fiber bundles directed along mechanical load direction. Method of producing above described frame consists in placing frame workpiece made from fiber bundles arranged in one direction in injection mould whereto warmed up resin is injected, resultant product being solidified in said injection mould.

EFFECT: reduced weight.
