FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and tooling for making composite frames of aircraft windows. Proposed method comprises the following stages: placing workpiece (4) made from pre-impregnated material containing dispersed fibres with a given orientation in a thermosetting resin matrix in mould (3); closing mould (3) so that between at least one surface (7) of workpiece (4) and section (15) of mould (3) there is gap (6); introducing thermosetting resin into closed mould (3) through inlet hole (11) in mould (3) so as to fill gap (6) and completely cover surface (7) of workpiece (4); applying uniform hydrostatic pressure to surface (7) by introducing resin. Tooling (1) for production includes mould (3) designed to accommodate workpiece (4) and closing workpiece (4) inside so that between surface (7) of workpiece (4) and inner surface (8) of mould (3) there is gap (6).
EFFECT: higher reliability.
