FIELD: building.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to equipment for sizing loose materials and can be implemented in building, mining, metallurgy and other branches of industry. The screen for sizing loose materials consists of screening surface located between end flanges made in form of broken spiral-shape tunnel with multi-angle pass through cross section assembled out of sections forming interrupted broken screw lines along their perimetre and along ends of inlet and outlet squares inclined to different sides to axis of sections; also each successive section is turned relative to a preceding one at angle of 90°; the screen further consists of charge and discharge facilities and a drive. Each section of screening surface is made with increased dimension of open flow area relative to the preceding section in the direction from charging to discharging; each section is assembled out of two pairs of trapezium, notably, out of two different by size equilateral bigger and smaller trapezium and two equal by size scalene trapeziums connected alternately at right angle one with the other. Lower bases of scalene trapeziums are equal to sides of the bigger equilateral trapezium, while upper bases of scalene trapeziums are equal to sides of smaller equilateral trapezium. Interrupted broken screw lines are made with increment along length of screening surface. Inlet and outlet squares of each section are inclined at different angles to axes of sections.
EFFECT: increased operating capability and efficiency of screening and mixing and enhanced functionality.
