FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention is related to the field of testing equipment, in particular to tightness tests of spacecrafts systems. Method for detection of tightness in system of working fluid supply to source of plasma, includes measurement of pressure and temperature in controlled volume of system at fixed interval of time, definition of working fluid flow by variation of pressure and temperature in controlled volume, measurement of parametres that characterise operation of plasma source at a specified interval, detection of working fluid control flow in source of plasma by measured parametres, detection of system tightness by comparison of control flow and flow detected by variation of pressure and temperature of working fluid in controlled volume. Pressure of working fluid in input main of plasma source is measured multiply, at the same time measurement of working parametres of plasma source is carried out for various values of measured pressure of working fluid, producing dependencies of working parametres of plasma source on pressure, which are used to define transfer characteristics of working fluid control flow regulation per unit of time in process of supply to source of plasma, providing for nominal mode of operation of plasma source, in process of operation of which current values of parametres of transfer characteristics of working fluid flow regulation are measured in process of supply to source of plasma and pressure. Then using produced dependencies, values of current control flow of working fluid per unit of time are determined within the limits of fixed interval.

EFFECT: increased accuracy of system tightness detection.
