FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to precision motion engines. Piezo engine comprises moving working part and group of identical-size parallel deformable piezo converters that makes lengthwise motion. Said piezo converters are mounted in cantilever on said moving working part, while their free ends are rigidly jointed to guide elements that interact with friction holder. The latter can drive guide elements when piezo converters resume their initial sizes. The number of piezo converters with guide elements in a group is selected subject to possibility of isolating a subgroup therein that includes at least half their total number, for example three and more.

EFFECT: increased traction force and higher reliability.
