FIELD: welding works.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used for any technologies of welding by melting, in particular for welding in inertial gases by fusible electrode, tungsten electrode, for laser welding. Aluminium-based filler wire contains from 0.1 to 6 wt % of titanium, part of which is represented in the form of particles TiB2 and/or TiC, and the other part - in the form of free titanium. As optional elements it may contain magnesium, manganese, chrome, iron, silicon, zinc, vanadium, zirconium, beryllium. Wire may be made on the basis of alloy of series 5xxx or series 4xxx.
EFFECT: application results in production of welded joint with more finely dispersed grain, which provides for its high mechanical strength.
