FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive processing and can be used for finishing of workpieces in round outer grinding. Workpiece is clamped in axially travelling centres. Workpiece and abrasive wheel are revolved. Workpiece and table are continuously fed in lengthwise direction. Abrasive wheel is continuously and radially fed during single or double stroke of table with workpiece. In spark-out, workpiece is driven into axial oscillatory motion with amplitude of magnitude selected depending upon abrasive wheel grain size.
EFFECT: higher quality of processing.
