SUBSTANCE: invention is related to production and repair of structural elements, mostly, ship ones. Method for support of structural elements includes installation and connection of cutting-in supporting elements to elements of structure with crossing joints. Support elements are installed onto structural elements, which are adjacent to or passing through supported ones, including additional ones. Supporting and supported elements are joined to each other for the full extent of joint between them. They are cut partially or fully into each other along joint. Cut is arranged from the side of elements that are adjacent to and/or passing through supported elements, also passing through each other, as well as if adjacent element is also a supported one. In process of support arrangement earlier installed supporting elements are both supported and adjacent.
EFFECT: invention provides for manufacturability of assembly and connection of elements to each other.
