SUBSTANCE: surface antigenic complex (Ag 8) is detected as a part of microbial cells in antigen-antibody crossed electrophorersis with using goat's immune serum containing antibodies to specified antigen recovered from B Pseudomallei 100 with formamide, with antibody titre "РИД" 1:16-1:32. Upon termination of the electrophoresis session, the plates are looked through. Precipitate peaks observed in gel structure testifies the presence of antigenic complex 8 of pathogenic B pseudomallei and B mallei, while the negative result shows the absence of antigens of pathogenic burkholderia.

EFFECT: invention allows for rapid differentiation of the pathogenic agents of melioidosis and glanders and nonpathogenic for humans burkholderia and closely related microorganisms.
