SUBSTANCE: there are presented oligonucleotide primers for rapid evaluation of the presence of β-lactam stability determinants in pathogenic Burkholderia isolates by polymerase chain reaction in a combination with stating the identity of the detected β-lactamases to a specific molecular class. The invention may be used in medicine and genetics for detection of the chromosome β-lactamase gene sequences of pathogenic Burkholderia in extended molecular-genetic studying of the strains and rapid evaluation of their potential sensitivity to the β-lactam antibiotics.
