SUBSTANCE: invention relates to distributed-feedback (DFB) lasers in which the Bragg grating used is a two-dimensional photonic crystal. The crystal substrate used is an opal matrix with 108 nm or 238 nm spheres and orientation of the surface (111), on which a sublayer of silicon dioxide of thickness 150-250 nm is deposited through magnetron sputtering, on top of a zinc oxide layer of thickness 120-140 nm and the samples are then calcined at 800°C for 5 minutes.
EFFECT: lower threshold of generation, simplification of technology of making the laser.
