FIELD: production processes.

SUBSTANCE: presented invention refers to devices for mixing of heterogeneous media using agitators generating set of two fields - pulsed and centrifugal, and may be used in chemical, petrochemical, food, pharmaceuticals industry and other branches of industry for processing of heterogeneous media liquid-solid particles, liquid-liquid, liquid-gas and liquid-gas-solid particles. Agitator contains casing 1, perimetry of which is provided with six narrow baffles 6 installed on it and rigidly fixed on inner surface of casing, or six broad turning baffles 7 with locking in operative position, at that wide working surfaces 8 of baffles are partially arranged between agitators. Agitators contain hub and blades. Each of blades is designed as curved surface resulted from rotation of generatix, being segment of straight line, around agitator axis in such a way that end of segment closest to axis move along cylindrical surface of hub, and end of segment remote from axis move in a path laying on imaginary cylindrical surface coaxial to shaft in such a way that vertical displacement of segment end from middle plane of agitator correspond to calculating formula.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase efficiency of pulsed-centrifugal agitator due to increase of efficiency of use of energy in apparatus by means of partial (maximum possible) conversion of rotational motion of agitators to pulsation of pressure and speed in heterogeneous medium.
