FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention serves to protect LV electrical units against overvoltage. Proposed device comprises base 3 with terminals (5, 6, 7) for phase conductors and at least one overvoltage protection element 8 comprising at least one discharger 10 arranged in casing 9. Device base 3 has at least one remote signaling contact with switch 11 to transmit, over communication line, the signal about state of at least one overvoltage protection element 8. Base 3 can have sockets 12 connected with terminals (5, 6, 7), while aforesaid element 8 can have plug contacts13 to allow element 8 to be fitted into base 3. Said element 8 is furnished with state indicator (14) operated, along with remote signaling contact switch 11, by common mechanical control system to minimise mounting space for aforesaid indicator and to rule out power supply for indicator operation.
EFFECT: simple design, ease of operation.
