FIELD: electronics engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sensor (contact) switch with its circuit made on p.c.b. (28) and connected via sensor element (44) to contact switch zone (12) made on mask or coating (11) of electric device. Sensor element (44) is made from flexible conducting synthetic or foamed plastic material. Two parts (24, 25) of sensor element (44) are laid in mounting element or cell (18) made from isolating transparent synthetic material to isolate, together with intermediate wall (21), aforesaid parts (24, 25) of sensor element one from another and to enclose them to a shell. This allows creating sufficient air gap and track between current conducting parts and mask hole (16). Light guide passes through said gap to direct the light emitted by LED (29) towards light output in switch zone (12). Alternatively, inner shell (23) adjoins hole (16) to envelope, above air gap and track, appropriate element (15) and to double as a holder of sensor element (44).
EFFECT: higher reliability and safety.
