FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to surgical devices and can be used for elimination of severe urinary incontinence in men. An artificial sphincter of urinary bladder comprises an inflatable cuff, a reservoir with fluid flow controlling means and a sphincter activator. The cuff is attached to the reservoir. The reservoir controls pressure through a manual pump which transfers the fluid from the cuff to the reservoir. The activator comprises an elastic membrane and fixed on the lateral surface of the pump. The flexible element is attached to the membrane and bulged on the end. Said element is located in one channels of the activator and tightly closes a collar passage on the lateral surface of the channel.

EFFECT: reliable operation and simplified design with optimal fit of the cuff walls to the patient's tissues.
