FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to rolling mills for continuous rolling of lengthy items. Rolling mill comprises initial rolling section arranged with the possibility of heating and continuous rolling of ingots into billets/semiproducts, several output rolling sections of various layout arranged with the possibility of additional rolling of ingots/semiproducts into finished products, accumulators installed between each of output rolling sections and initial rolling section, and distribution devices for reception of subsequent sections of ingots/semiproducts from initial rolling section and selective direction of ingots/semiproducts to selected output rolling sections through their according accumulators for simultaneous processing into finished products, besides efficiency of output sections is less than efficiency of initial rolling section. Each of accumulators is arranged with the possibility to accumulate ingots/semiproducts with efficiency of initial rolling section and their direction towards output rolling section that operates jointly with them with its according efficiency to provide for temporary storage of excessive ingots/semiproducts, which is produced as a result of difference in efficiencies of sections. Output rolling sections are arranged with the possibility to operate simultaneously with total efficiency equal to efficiency of initial rolling section.
EFFECT: invention provides for simultaneous operation of several different output rolling sections with total efficiency, which exceeds the second efficiencies of separate output sections and is ideally equal to them, and accordingly realises the highest first efficiency of initial rolling section to the maximum.
