FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to a device for maintaining temperature and/or possible heating of long items to obtain long rolled-metal items. The device includes a movable conveying section for bloom pieces, which is located after a cutting device and contains the first moving line and the second moving line. The first and the second moving lines are made so that they can be moved in a direction transverse to a flow direction of bloom pieces, for movement to the first position, in which the above first moving line and/or the second moving line turns out to be displaced with the first pouring line and with the second pouring line respectively, as well as to the second position, in which any one moving line, either the first line or the second line, turns out to be aligned with the feed axis. After the movable conveying section, a furnace is located, which contains a receiving roller table for bloom pieces; with that, the axis of the receiving roller table coincides with the feed axis, an outgoing roller table, the axis of which coincides with axis of rolling line (30), and transverse movement devices having a possibility of conveying bloom pieces from the receiving roller table towards the outgoing roller table.
EFFECT: use of the invention provides a possibility of variation of produced items as to dimensions and type without any interruption of continuous metal pouring.
