FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and may be used for strip hot rolling at combination mill. Double-pass continuous casting machine teems the product of square, rectangular or equivalent cross-section with long-to-short length ratio of 1.02-4. Casting is cut to bloom lengths of 16-150 m, 10-100 t in weight to be fed to furnace for curing or heating. Axes of the furnace displacement first and second sections (20a, 20b) are aligned with axes of teeming lines (21a, 21b). Bloom lengths inside the furnace are transferred cross wisely to third transfer section (24) located parallel with said first and second sections (20a, 20b) and displaced relative thereto. Axis of third section (24) is aligned with rolling line axis (22) located parallel with two teeming lines (21a, 21b) and shifted relative thereto. Bloom length cross-section is reduced at rolling mill.
EFFECT: teeming of metal without interruption of rolling.
