FIELD: automotive transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to headrest design. Proposed headrest comprises front and rear parts, drive device, electrostatic capacitative pickup and control device. Said control device serves to define approach of headrest front to passenger head. In compliance with the first version, aforesaid magnitude is defined from absolute change of capacitance with respect to reference electrostatic capacitance. In compliance with the second version, it is defined when electrostatic capacitance change per unit time of electrostatic capacitative pickup exceeds preset threshold value. In compliance with the fourth version, said magnitude is defined when electrostatic capacitance change per whatever time of electrostatic capacitative pickup exceeds threshold value. In compliance with the fourth version, said magnitude is defined when electrostatic capacitance change per preset time of electrostatic capacitative pickup exceeds threshold value. In compliance with the third version, drive device incorporates an appliance to detect mechanical displacement. In compliance with the sixth version, control device incorporates electrostatic capacitative pickup circuit to determine electrostatic capacitance of said pickup, storage that saves threshold value and central processing unit.
