FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gear pump comprises cover and housing with parallel bores accommodating drive and driven gears, two-diametre cylindrical bearings and gear crown end seal compensators with cups. Bearing smaller-diametre cylinder face surface represents a sphere in contact with mating spherical surface of housing bottom and/or cover, or smaller-diametre cylinder is located free in thrust bush fitted in the housing bore. Bearing surface of transition from smaller to larger diametre represents a sphere in contact with mating spherical surface made on thrust bush end face.
EFFECT: producing self-aligning bearings at whatever loads and bending of gear journals.
