SUBSTANCE: gear hydraulic unit includes at least one cover plate 2 and housing 1 with working fluid supply and discharge holes 9, inner parallel bores for gears and expansion pieces with cuffs made in housing 1 and cover plate 2 (cover plates). Bearings of gear trunnions are placed in parallel bores of smaller diameter, which are made in housing 1 and cover plate 2, or in two cover plates 2. Mounting threaded holes 8 for attachment of working fluid supply and discharge flanges are made in housing 1 and in cover plate 2, or only in two cover plates 2, symmetrically to supply and discharge holes 9 and perpendicular to the force tearing cover plate 2 from housing 1.

EFFECT: maintaining the dimension chain of the parts installed in the housing and excluding the occurrence of gaps between those parts under load.
